There are statistics clearing showing that Windows 8 is a flop release but Windows Phone is not a lost battle for Microsoft yet because in a few parts of the world it is selling more than iPhone.
And Microsoft this month has listed those 24 countries where Windows phone is selling more than iPhone and there is the list given below:
Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Ecuador, Finland, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Poland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates and Vietnam.
Interestingly in 14 countries out f these, Windows phone has assumed the second position edging past iOS where Symbian and Blackberry had strong hold. These 14 countries are:
Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, India, Italy, Greece, Hungary, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, Thailand, Ukraine, Vietnam
However, this is happening in countries where iPhone does not compete with Windows phone. But there are also strong indications that Windows Phone is also doing strong in Europe.
