A new version of iPod Touch has been launched by Apple today. It features a 64 bit A8 processor. This was a long overdue update because the last update that Apple Touch saw was in 2012. The new version is a huge improvement over the obsolete A5 processor. The cameras at back and front have also been improved now and the back camera is now an 8 megapixels resolution camera.
For the first time, iPod Touch has been launched in gold color like iPhone and iPad and there are also new pink and blue color options too. For increased storage, you can now get a 128 GB model of iPod Touch for a price of $399. The 16GB base model is available for $199 and 32 GB model has been priced at $249. There is also a 64 GB version which is $299.
The new iPod Touch has an M8 motion coprocessor geared towards fitness tracking just like iPhone. For selfie lovers, the front camera now supports burst mode. The specs and prices of iPod nano and shuffle have not been changed.
