Apple’s headquarters building for Europe was practically evacuated for a brief time earlier today in Ireland as Police combed the premises after a security tip. However, the search has completed and employees have returned to work in the building.
The Irish Police has still not confirmed if the security search they had undertaken was over but Reuters has quoted officials from Apple saying that it is over and they are back to work at their desks.
Apple’s European headquarters is located in Cork county of southern Ireland where it employees more than 5,000 workers. According to Police the main campus of the facility was evacuated. No bomb disposal team was called in at the scene.
