Dell Chromebook 13 Review – Better than Chromebook Pixel

dell-chromebook-13Chromebook Pixel from Google is the ultimate standard in chromebooks but it is priced at a hefty $999. However, spending so much on a product that is so much dependent on Wifi and web browser is a difficult decision.

However, there is now Dell Chromebook 13, priced at $429 with the finish and design that is at par with laptops that cost hundreds of dollars more. At 3.23 pounds it is not light but it has solid build quality, hence its weight.

Some of the important features of Dell Chromebook 13 are as under:

  • Intel Celeron 3205U which will not let you down, regardless of how many tabs you might open
  • 16 GB storage and 4GB RAM – by paying extra you can get 32 GB storage and 8 GB RAM.
  • microSD slot
  • USB 3.0 port
  • Full size HDMI port

Chrome OS has its limitations though because you can not do much without WiFi but if you are convinced that Chromebook is going to be your purchase for internet use, then Dell Chromebook 13 is the number one premium choice. The battery life is very long and it goes on and on and can easily take you through the day’s tasks.
