The advertising revenue of Google decreased for the first time last year and is expected to decrease by another 7 percent this year, a report from eMarketer says. However, it notes that Google will see an overall revenue growth based on fast mobile advertising revenue growth.

eMarketer has estimated that Google’s net revenue from advertising will increase from $38.3 billion in 2013 to $43.5 billion during 2014.

eMarketer estimates that the search revenue from desktop computer will decrease from $10.8 billion in 2013 to $10 billion in the U.S. market but mobile revenue is expected to rise from $3.3 billion in previous year to $5.1 billion.

The increased revenue from mobile market is based on Google’s initiatives like enhanced campaigns and product listing ads.
