The famous TV streaming website Hulu is going to further augment its original programming portfolio during 2014 and will launch four new original TV series which also will include “Deadbeat” and “The Hotwives of Orlando.”
It was also announced by Hulu that it will also release newer episodes of six more exclusive series which include shows like “The Awesomes”, “Moone Boy,” which will feature Chris O’ Dowd, the star of “Bridesmaids.”
Hulu is a video streaming service that streams popular shows from popular networks like NBC, Fox and ABC on the next after their airing on broadcast TV. It has competitors like Amazon’s Prime Instant Video and Netflix.
Hulu also has a free version of its service which is ad supported and has fewer shows on Hulu.com. The subscription service is available on HuluPlus.com and costs $8 a month for more TV shows.
Hulu is owned by Walt Disney, Comcast Corp and 21st Century Fox. During 2012, Hulu released 20 exclusive shows which also included imported foreign series and original productions.
Two other news shows this year at Hulu are “The Next Step” and “The Bridge.”
Hulu’s revenue during 2013 touched $1 billion. The service was first launched in 2008.
