iPhone 6s is now on sale in different markets around the globe. There were reports earlier that the new iPhone 6s comes with double the RAM availble in iPhone 6 and a smaller battery that gives almost the same amount of juice as the one in iPhone 6.
Now the folks at iFixIt, known for gadget repair tutorials and advice, have torn down a rose gold 16GB iPhone 6s and confirmed that it comes with 2GB of very fast Samsung LPDDR4 RAM and the battery is 1,715mAh. In comparison, iPhone 6 has a 1,810 mAh batery and 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM.
The teardown from iFixit also revealed that the new display in iPhone 6s is heavier that its predecessor iPhone 6.
This teardown experiment at iFixit has also revealed other interesting details about the components and screen assembly of the new 3D Touch screen, a faster Touch ID sensor, the Taptic engine, improved cameras and a new NFC controller.
