We came to k now at the Consumer Electronics Show 2014 that Samsung Galaxy S5 launch can be expected with a few months at about the same time Samsung launched the current flagship phone Galaxy S4. Now an insider has leaked some specs of Galaxy S5 to Samsung fans site SamMobile along with some specs of S5 Mini and S5 Zoom.
SamMobile has proved to be a very reliable source for Samsung related leaks in the past. According to the site, S5 will have a premium metal body version as well as a standard plastic body version. It will be having an impressive AMOLED display with resolution of 2560×1440 and a 16-megapixel camera and will be powered by either a Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 6. It will be running Android 4.4 KitKat.
All this is an iterative hardware upgrade. However, the leaks do not give any information about rumored head tracking and iris-scanning coming to Galaxy S5. However, we can always expect a few head rolling features from Samsung when Galaxy S5 is finally launched.
