Samsung Plans Dual-screen, Quad-core Android Flip Phone

These days whenever you think of a stylish phone, you think of a minimalist and sleek ones. Have you lately seen any flip phone? This is a style of phone which you will not see very often, and very rarely for phones powered by Google Android.

But Samsung, always looking for innovation, has announced a new flip phone named Hennessy – it will be Android powered dual screen phone.


The front of Hennessy is fairly identical to a common Android phone but having a lot of bezel. But when you take it in hand, you come to notice that there is another screen as well which you can flip open.

The phone will be having a 1.2GHz quad-core processor with a 480×320 resolution 3.3 inch screen. The phone comes with a 1500mAh battery, a 5 Megapixel camera and a microSD card slot.

The phone will run Android 4.1 with some kind of Samsung TouchWiz overlay.

The Hennessy is currently announced for China only and there is no word about the availability of phone or its pricing.
