Twitter’s Short Videos App Vine Bans Porn Videos

Twitter has banned porn videos on its short video service Vine saying that these videos are not good for the Vine community. Twitter has updated Vine’s Terms of Service and Rules which now ban sexually explicit content on vine.

Vine has said that while it does not have any problem with porn on the internet but it does not want to be the source of internet porn.

Twitter has also posted an article on its Help Center to let users know what is acceptable and what is not acceptable. Users can now report porn videos on Vine which will be in violation of the updated policy by Selecting “Report this post” after tapping on the button below the video.

A reading of the Terms of Service tells that the nudity is allowed in art and education etc but all explicit porn content is against the Terms of Use now. It is also banned to share close-ups of aroused sex organs. Hentai graphics or animations are also banned.
